The Goode Company Texas Tour has saddled up and left good ole San Antone’, which means we’re already gearing up for our next stop, and the Texas Tour is halfway over. Along the way we’ve helped 3 winners experience some of our great state’s most historic cities, and we’re doing the same for 3 more!

Our San Antonio sweepstakes winner was Cory Shapiro from Arizona. He was able to experience one of Texas’ finest cities by just liking us on Facebook – Can ya believe that? Keep reading to learn how he spent his time in San Antonio, the 3rd fastest-growing city in America and the 7th largest U.S. city.

Cory thoroughly enjoyed his stay at the historic Menger Hotel. Yes it might be haunted, but Cory didn’t see any ghosts or ghouls during his stay! While Cory was in the city he had the pleasure of receiving an in-depth tour of the famous Pearl Brewery, complete with local farmer’s market experience. After his trip to Pearl Brewery, Cory took a behind the scenes private tour of the Culinary Institute of America campus. He was pleasantly surprised by how large the grounds were! He and his guest then dined at the CIA’s new restaurant, NAO, which is student-staffed and valuable to guests who are wanting to try new world flavors.

Other experiences worth an honorable mention include a visit to the Alamo, a riverboat tour along the infamous River Walk, and spare time for Cory to enjoy the rich history of the city.

As the Texas Tour keeps rolling, August will be here in no time and it’ll be time to select our 4th winner. They’ll be spending an entire weekend in Gruene, Texas, from August 10 – 12 to celebrate our 35th anniversary.

The sweepstakes is already open so make sure you head over to the official Goode Company BBQ Facebook Page and sign up to have the chance to win a trip to Gruene with Goode Company as your official tour guide!
