We spent last weekend in Round Top, Texas with our fifth Texas Tour winner, Kristen, and let’s just say, the small town didn’t disappoint. Tens of thousands of buyers flooded Round Top during one of two annual Antique Weekends.
Upon arriving Kristen and her mother-in-law got settled in at the historic Round Top Inn, but didn’t spend too much time gettin’ cozy, with such a big night ahead. We had dinner plans at Royer’s Café, a quaint restaurant with room for no more than 40 people. Royer’s has a little something for everyone as “a Texas country bistro serving gourmet country food.”
After dinner, we were off to the Junk Gypsy Company Junk-o-Rama Prom. Here we got to hang with the band and Kristen danced the night away, in true country style. Can you believe this was all just day one?
The rest of Kristen’s Round Top weekend was spent shopping among the antiques with her mother-in-law. They had a full day of collecting and admiring everything from jewelry, to art, even chairs and clothes. Although we can’t tell you how much they spent, we will say the dynamic duo walked away with some great steals!
