Home of the tipsy two-step, the Armadillo Palace is a nod to everything Goode Company likes to love about Texas. From live Texas musicians, to classic southern comfort food, the Armadillo Palace is a Goode spot for lunch, dinner, happy hour, late night dancing, private events and so much more.
You’ll be drawn in by the twelve-foot glittering armadillo that guards the place and you won’t want to leave once you get here. In case you haven’t had a chance to visit, let us tell you a little more about our beloved Palace.
When you walk in, you’ll be greeted by mounted longhorns, vintage ranch regalia and leather saddle stools that surround our three-sided bar that anchors our dance floor. We have a pool table and shuffleboard set up in a semi-private room off the dining and dancing hall and outdoor patios on both the front and back portions of the building, which are perfect for enjoying a margarita or ice-cold beer on a nice day.
When it comes to eating, we still stand for the same thing we did on day one: good food, done right. While every plate of food at Armadillo Palace is scratch-made daily from recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation, we have a few dishes that seem to be fan favorites.
Once you’re nice and full, stick around for a live music performance and enjoy the tunes of some of Texas’ local singer and songwriters. We typically host performances every Saturday night and in April, Brad Boyer, Aaron Einhouse and Stephen Chadwick will take the stage.
