All is well on the Goode Company Texas Tour, as it continues to roll into some of the most historic Texas cities, and some of my favorite spots. We recently wrapped up our stop in Fort Worth, Texas, and will soon be hitting the road, this time to San Antonio.
Our April sweepstakes winner, Jessica Roberts, had a great time in Fort Worth; she traveled in from Baton Rouge to experience some of Cowtown’s best.
Jessica brought a guest along for the ride and there are plenty of pictures to bring back to her friends and brag about the Texas hospitality.
They stayed at the Historic Stockyards Hotel and danced the night away at the famous Billy Bob’s, while meeting Sons of Fathers backstage before their concert. They were able to catch The Big Race, Samsung Mobile 500, up close! It was definitely a trip for the ages and Jessica said she would be back in the Lone Star State soon.
Fort Worth is a special place to my family and me. As Texans I think we can all be appreciative of what this city, so rich in history and Texas culture, has given us. Fort Worth became the center of the famous cattle drives in the 19th century, as millions of Texas cattle were driven north through Fort Worth. We’re so proud of the tradition and quality from Cowtown, which inspired us to only use Texas cattle for our beef recipes. So make sure to check out my Mesquite Smoked Brisket instructions on our website, for your own cattle drives.
Make sure you don’t miss out on our next stop on the Goode Company Texas Tour. Enter to be the next winner as we bring the “Goode” times to San Antonio, June 8-10.
