First Stop on the Texas Tour, Austin

Bob Schneider at Threadgills

Aren't they down right beautiful? Elizabeth Pena got herself some custom Allens Boots today! Send her "goode" vibes as she continues on with the Texas Tour!

Elizabeth and her fiance love them some mudbugs!

The first stop on the Goode Company Texas Tour was Austin, “The Live Music Capital of the World.” We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate our 35th anniversary than by showing off the capital of our beautiful Lone Star state.

We brought Elizabeth and her fiancé to town during SXSW Festival, and boy were they surprised by the masses! When they needed a break from all the madness, they got cozy at The Mansion at Judges’ Hill. This particular hotel dates back to 1846 when the land was sold to a man named Adam Maag.

My family and I are no strangers when it comes to Austin, especially when live music and Texas brewed beers come into play. We love a good night on the town, and were happy to see that Elizabeth was thoroughly enjoying herself. They ate oysters and crawfish, saw a live show by Bob Schneider at Threadgill’s, and the little lady was even fitted in her own pair of custom-made Allen Boots. You can see the rest of their pictures from the weekend here.

Fort Worth, or better known to us as Cowtown, is where we’ll be sending our second winner on the Texas Tour. Filled with rich history and succulent heffers, we hold the town close to our hearts, and want our next winner to feel that.
